Cornerstone Youth Services engaged Leadership and Change Consultants to run a series of workshops with a focus on our workplace culture.
We had been through a period of significant growth that whilst positive, also brought a number of challenges and stressors for staff.
Right from the first conversation it was clear that Michelle and Rikki “know their stuff”. They are extremely approachable and professional which makes dealing with them an enjoyable and clear process. They took every step required to gain an understanding of the needs of our organisation. This was done in an extremely thorough manner via meetings, phone calls, email and preparation work completed by participants. Michelle also delivered one to one coaching support for our leadership group as required. Based on the positive feedback received, we have looked to extend this work.
Rikki facilitated a workshop for our leadership group with a focus on communication and conflict management. The workshop was insightful and practical. Our team left armed with new skills to use when dealing with challenging workplace scenarios. There is clear evidence that the skills presented in the workshop have translated to our dealings within the workplace, both internally and with external stakeholders.
Michelle and Rikki both facilitated workshops for our staff across numerous sites. As facilitators they work well together. They know each other’s strengths and they use this to their benefit with co-hosted workshops that are delivered seamlessly. They can “read the room” and adjust delivery as required. They were able to engage with our staff, enabling interaction and staff participation.
Our organisation now has a thorough understanding of the values and behaviours we hold as important. Michelle and Rikki have given us a blueprint for a workplace culture that will align with our Strategic Plan. There is no doubt that we will utilise the services of Leadership and Change Consultants in the future.
